KENNESAW, Ga. - The 8th Annual Kennesaw State Men's Basketball Golf Tournament hosted by head coach Tony Ingle is scheduled for July 20 at the Dogwood Golf Club in Austell, Ga.
"This is a major event for our program," said Coach Ingle. "It is our top fundraiser and it offers a special opportunity for the boosters to get together with the staff and our players in a fun casual setting."
The annual event, which is the primary fundraiser for the men's basketball program, is slated to begin with a Shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. Registration is set for 9:00 a.m. where the driving range and putting green will be open for all participants. In addition, there will be gift bags for each golfer.
"With our four-year transition period over and as we become a full-fledged Division I member, it is crucial that we have the means to compete on a national level," added Coach Ingle. "The success of this event is a crucial component to our future and we are thankful to all of our past supporters and the newcomers to the 100 Club."
A buffet and awards presentation will follow the event in which there will be gifts for the longest drive, closest to the pin and prizes for the top two teams in each flight.
