KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Department of Intercollegiate Athletics released their promotions schedule for Owls soccer on Tuesday, giving fans a peek at some of the exciting plans for this coming fall at the brand-new KSU Soccer Stadium.
The Owls will have eight promotional dates on the 2010 schedule- culminating on Saturday, Oct. 23 in the Black and Gold’s homecoming match against Mercer, which also serves as Senior Night. Fans in attendance will be treated to a post-match fireworks show and will receive commemorative homecoming mini soccer balls.
From the very start of the season, the Owls will be having great giveaways, including Sunday, Aug. 22, when fans will receive a commemorative ticket and lanyard holder in celebration of the Owls first-ever regular season home match at KSU Soccer Stadium when head coach Rob King’s squad takes on Alabama A&M at 4:00.
Sunday, Sept. 5 will offer fans a chance to take home their very own replica of the KSU Soccer Stadium at the Owls 1:00 match against Wyoming.
Tuesday, Aug. 17 is Welcome Back Student Night, when the Owls take on Georgia College and State University at 6:00. Free food and coca-cola products will be available to all students in attendance as part of a season-opening tailgate, courtesy of KSU Residence Life.
Season ticket packages as well as single-game tickets can be purchased online at www.ksuowls.com or by calling 770-423-6957. Groups of 10 or more can purchase discounted tickets by calling Brian LeHeup at 678-797-2171. Ticket prices for single games are $6 for adults and $4 for kids that are in eighth grade or younger. All Kennesaw State athletics events are free for KSU students.
