KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Owls women’s soccer program capped off their second set of two-week camps on Friday, concluding another successful summer season of skill development for local youth.
Over 300 boys and girls ages 7-18 took advantage of one of the four-one week sessions, which culminated in the girls-only KSU Elite Soccer Camp July 19-23.
“It was great to have so many kids from the surrounding community out here that have a love for soccer and are looking to improve their skills,” said Owls associate head coach Frank Pitt. “Getting the chance to help young players reach their full potential is something we take a lot of pride in doing.”
Head coach Rob King and the 2010 edition of the Owls take to the field for the first time on Saturday, August 14 at 2:00 p.m. when they take on Jacksonville State in an exhibition match. The match will be the first for the Black and Gold at KSU Soccer Stadium.
