KENNESAW, Ga. - Leading up the 2011-12 Kennesaw State Owls men's basketball season,
www.KSUOwls.com sits down with the Owls to discuss what lies ahead. On Thursday, we meet with juniors Markeith Cummings and LaDaris Green.
Cummings and Green, who led the Atlantic Sun Conference last season in scoring and rebounding, respectively, have been teammates every step of the way. From Beach High School in Savannah, Ga., to Genesis One Christian School in Mendenhall, Miss., to now beginning their third season with the Black and Gold, the duo have continued to be successful on the court as they have grown as players.
Cummings, the A-Sun Preseason Player of the Year, and Green, who is on the verge of becoming the Owls all-time leading shot-blocker, share their thoughts on knowing each other's games, the squad's challenging schedule, and the new coaching staff.
