KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men’s golfer Jeff Karlsson was named Atlantic Sun golfer of the week after his second place performance at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate Apr. 9-10 at the Club at Irish Creek.
The junior played a perfect final two rounds of bogey free golf, tallying one eagle and six birdies over 36-holes to shoot a 209, -4 to help the Owls to a fifth place finish and a national ranking of 45.
Karlsson finished ahead of seven golfers ranked in the Golfstat Top-100 and earned a 11th place ranking in the Golfstat Cup.
This is Karlsson’s second A-Sun award for the spring, giving the Owls five total on the season.
