Owls Vs. Mercer: Get Tickets

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Owls Fight Song has been unveiled, and all of Owl Nation can learn the lyrics and sing along with the music video, which was released on Tuesday.

The video features Kennesaw State student-athletes, as well as Director of Athletics Vaughn Williams, as they sing each verse of the newly created fight song.

Fans are encouraged to watch the video, which is posted on YouTube, and learn all of the lyrics in advance of the Owls home game on Friday night vs. Mercer. 10 minutes prior to tip-off, the fight song will be played for the first time by the Kennesaw State Pep Band, with everyone in attendance invited to sing along.

“This is a historic event for our athletic department, for our university, and for our community, and I’m challenging everyone in Owl Nation to come by on Friday evening, to be here and be a part of history when we all sing our fight song together for the first time,” Williams said. “We’ve picked the right time in which to unveil it, with our in-state rivals about to face us on our home floor, and I’m extremely excited to see what’s in store for everyone on Friday night.”

Limited general admission tickets are still available for $10 to Friday night’s contest.  KSU students can pick up their complimentary ticket at the KSU Convocation Center ticket window from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday when they present a valid KSU student ID. There are a limited number of student tickets available and they will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve, basis.

All fans are invited to a pre-game tailgate outside the Convocation Center on Friday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m., hosted by KSU Housing and the KSU Foundation, with free food available to the first 800 fans in attendance.
