KENNESAW, Ga. - Henssler Financial, a partner with the Kennesaw State University and the KSU Athletics Association, recently hosted a book signing event with Vince Dooley. During the event, Gene Henssler, Ph.D, Ted Parrish, CFA, and William G. Lako, Jr., CFP® presented a $2,500 check to Director of Athletics Vaughn Williams and Vince Dooley. The gift will assist in providing funds to support the effort to start a football program at Kennesaw State.

Kennesaw State Director of Athletics Vaughn Williams was overwhelmed with the gift from Henssler Financial.

"Their partnership with Kennesaw State University and the Department of Athletics is a great example of giving back to a cause they so deeply believe in. We greatly appreciate their everyday desire to help Owls athletics and our university. It will truly impact the entire Kennesaw State Athletics family."
The Owls Fund serves as the annual fundraising program for men's and women's intercollegiate athletics at Kennesaw State University. Gifts to The Owls Fund assist in providing funds for scholarships, equipment needs, travel and general operational support to Kennesaw State's 17 varsity athletic programs as well as the spirit program.
