MACON, Ga. – Kennesaw State cross country standout
Natan Reuter was honored as the Atlantic Sun Runner of the Week for his finish at the Auburn Invitational, announced the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Reuter finished third overall at the Auburn Invitational last Friday. Posting a time of 19:07.9, with a mile pace of 5:08, Reuter led the Owls to a second place finish. His performance also helped the Black and Gold secure a ninth place ranking in the most recent USTFCCCA South Region poll.
He has recorded back-to-back top-10 finishes and marked the fastest 6K time of the A-Sun runners this season. Reuter also holds the top mark in the conference for the 5K, with a time of 15:48.50.
“Natan (Reuter) has been an exceptional addition to our team.” Head Coach Ryan Wagner said. “He is coming off a summer calf injury and despite that he is still performing at an extremely high level. I believe his best racing is still to come.”
A native of Lennik, Belgium, Reuter transfers to the Owls as a sophomore from Eastern Kentucky. He is as a communications major. This marks the first-ever A-Sun Runner of the Week award for Reuter.
