KENNESAW, Ga. – Terrell Singleton has won the Atlantic Sun Men's Track Athlete of the Week after a strong first weekend at the Emory Invitational.

"It's a great accomplishment for Terrell to win this award for his first outdoor meet as a freshman," Director of Track and Field Andy Eggerth said. "We're expecting much faster times to come, so it'll be exciting to see how he continues to develop this season."

Singleton won the 110m hurdles posting a time of 14.56, which is currently the best time in the Atlantic Sun by half of a second. This is Singleton's first outdoor track athlete of the week award.

This weekend the team will split at three different meets. The majority of the team will be at the Shorter Invitational in Rome, Ga., part of the team will be in Austin, Texas for the Texas Relays, and the distance runners will be in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Raleigh Relays.
