T&F: Wood and Abdullah Sweep Atlantic Sun Track Performer of the Week Awards

Both Post Conference Leading Times at War Eagle Invitational

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State track and field teams have swept the Atlantic Sun Track Performer of the Week Awards.
 
Hannah Wood won her first weekly outdoor award for her performance in the 200m-dash at the War Eagle Invitational. She placed seventh in the event with a time of 23.86, which leads the conference by .18 seconds.
 
Bilal Abdullah won his second Outdoor Athlete of the Week Award by setting a new A-Sun leading mark and personal record in the 110m-hurdles with a time of 14.14. That time is currently 64th in the nation and 37th in the East Region. Right now, the Owls hold the top four spots in the A-Sun rankings in the 110m-hurdles.
 
This week, the Owls will be split up with some athletes, including Abdullah going to the Drake Relays and other athletes going to the Penn Relays.
