KENNESAW, Ga. – Andre Dorsey and
Netalia Anderson have won the Atlantic Sun Field Athlete of the Week award, announced by the A-Sun on Wednesday, April 9.
Dorsey continued his impressive performances in the field events as the junior won both the long jump and javelin competitions at the USF Collegiate. His winning distance in the long jump was 7.68-meters which ranks him eighth nationally and tied for forth in the East region. In the javelin, his distance of 58.11-meters secured him the victory in the event. This is Dorsey's third time winning the award and second time this year.
Anderson won the triple jump competition at the USF Collegiate. The sophomore's winning jump was 11.84-meters. That jump ranks her third in the A-Sun this year. This is Anderson's first time winning the award.
