KENNESAW, Ga. – Robert Harvey III has won his first Atlantic Sun Field Performer of the Week award, the league office announced on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.
"Rob has worked hard since becoming an Owl and is not afraid to make mistakes," throws coach
Duane Morris said. "His level of focus and attention to detail has been elevated during his senior campaign. Rob is ready for conference, as evidenced by his discus results last weekend. I expect to see lifetime bests from Robert Harvey this week."
Harvey placed third at the Georgia Invitational in the discus throw. He threw a new season-best 51.21 meters, extending his lead on top of the A-Sun in the discus. The A-Sun Championship record stands at 52.53 meters, and he will attempt to break that this weekend.
