Tuscalooosa, Ala.-Â Four members of the Kennesaw State Cross Country teams finished their season in Tuscaloosa, Alabama at the NCAA Cross Country South Regionals at the Harry Pritchett Running Park on Friday November 13.
On the women's side,
Kidan Kidane and
Amanda Cope represented the Owls in the women's 6k race. Kidane finished 54
th in 21:36.65. She finishes her stellar junior season with five top-five finishes in six events and as the Owls top finisher in all six events this season. Cope wrapped up her cross country career with a 202
nd place finish in 24:34:15. Cope finishes her cross country career having run in 23 in black and gold including a pair of NCAA South Regionals.
Simone Colombini and
Jordan Hand represented the Owls in the men's 10K race. Colombini was the Owls top finisher for the sixth straight meet finishing 62
nd in 32:36.07. He wrapped a strong freshmen campaign in which he collected four top five finishes to go along with Atlantic Sun Second Team All-Conference and All-Freshmen honors. Hand finished the season as the Owls second finisher in all six meets during the season. As the lone returner from last year's squad, Hand led a squad of four freshmen to a fifth place finish at the A-Sun Championships.

The Owls will now shift their focus to indoor track season which begins December 4
th with BSC Panther Indoor Icebreaker in Birmingham, Alabama.
