Football PageKENNESAW, Ga. – With the first Black & Gold Spring Game just 50 days away and the inaugural home football game in 218 days, the Kennesaw State Department of Athletics is looking to find the voice of Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Resumes are being accepted now through Feb. 15 for the opening and individuals interested in the position should submit a cover letter and resume, along with an mp3 or video that demonstrates their talent, to Brandy Chenoweth, director of marketing and fan experience, at
bchenowe@kennesaw.edu.
Some applicants may be asked to do an in-person audition, with the selected candidate's debut March 28 at the Black & Gold Game.
Kennesaw State Athletics is seeking an experienced public address announcer who will work closely with the marketing and game management staffs to create a professional and exciting game atmosphere. Responsibilities include announcing lineups, in game action, sponsorships, contests, presentations, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements for the position include a strong vocal talent, distinctive personality, ability to work nights, weekends, and occasional holiday weekends, ability work the spring game and all 2015 home games, strong knowledge of college football and experience working as a football public address announcer.
Fifth Third Bank is the Official Bank of Kennesaw State Athletics. Fifth Third Bank Stadium is the home of women's soccer, women's lacrosse and football, which will play its inaugural season in 2015.
