Atlantic Sun Release
KENNESAW, Ga. – Drew Duggans of the Kennesaw State men's track and field team has been named the Atlantic Sun Track Performer of the Week Award winner the conference announced Wednesday.
Duggans won his second consecutive Outdoor Athlete of the Week Award by setting a new A-Sun leading mark and school record in the 100m-dash wind aided with a time of 10.34 . That time is currently tied for 17
th in the nation and tied for 6
th in the East Region. Duggans also ran on the 4x400m relay team which finished second overall with a time of 3:34.43.
Drew continues to excel on the track," Director of Track and Field and Cross Country said. "It will be interesting to see what he can do at the upcoming Atlantic Sun Championships."
This week, the Owls will participate in the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Virginia on April 17-18th.
