FB: Kennesaw State Announces Football Broadcast Schedule

Watch Parties for Inaugural Game Planned on Both KSU Campuses, Throughout Kennesaw

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State will have all 11 games during its inaugural season broadcast over several different television and online networks, highlighted by a pair of games on WUPA-TV (Atlanta's CW69).
 
The Owls' first home game against Edward Waters (sold out) at Fifth Third Bank Stadium on Sept. 12 and road contest at Big South Conference foe Liberty on Oct. 24 will be televised over the air on WUPA-TV. The home opener is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. (ET) while the game at Liberty is slated for 7 p.m. (ET).
 
As part of the Big South Conference's exclusive ESPN3 "Game of the Week" package, Kennesaw State will be featured twice as its conference opener versus Gardner-Webb on Oct. 17 and against Monmouth on Oct. 31 will be broadcast on the ESPN3 digital platform.
 
The Owls' inaugural game at East Tennessee State on Thursday (Sept. 3) will be available on the SoCon Digital Network beginning at 7:30 p.m. (ET). Watch parties are planned on both Kennesaw State campuses and throughout the city of Kennesaw. Student viewing parties will be held in the Student Center Theatre on the Marietta campus and in the ARC Multi-Purpose Room on the Kennesaw campus. Both parties begin at 6:30 p.m.

Additional locations to watch Kennesaw State take on East Tennessee State include the World of Beers (745 Chastain Rd. NW, Kennesaw - 770-485-8133), Taco Mac (600 Chastain Rd. NW #310, Kennesaw - 770- 874-7781) and Sidelines (Cobb Place Shopping Center, 840 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW, Kennesaw - 770-919-8688).
 
Three home games versus Shorter (Sept. 19), Point (Oct. 10) and Charleston Southern (Nov. 7) will be produced by the Kennesaw State Department of Athletics and available through KSUOwls.com and the Big South Conference Network.
 
A non-conference road game at Dayton (Sept. 26) will air on the Atlantic 10 Digital Network, while conference road contests at Coastal Carolina (Nov. 14) and Presbyterian (Nov. 21) will be shown on the Big South Conference Network.
 
Audio broadcasts of all Kennesaw State games during the 2015 season will be available through KSUOwls.com and Stretch Internet with Brian Giffin handling the play-by-play, Tutan Reyes providing analysis and Art Eckman reporting from the sidelines.  Each broadcast will begin with a 30-minute pregame show.

WUPA-TV (CW69) TO AIR DOCUMENTARY: WUPA-TV Atlanta's CW69 will air a one-hour documentary that chronicles the building of the Kennesaw State football program. The show will air on Saturday (Sept. 5) at 4 p.m. and will take fans behind the scenes into the building of the program.

Fifth Third Bank is the Official Bank of Kennesaw State Athletics. Fifth Third Bank Stadium is the home of women's soccer, women's lacrosse and football, which will play its inaugural season in 2015.
