KSU will run at the Powerade Invitational for the first time since 2010. In their three previous trips to Mocassin Bend, the men's team has finished second once and third twice. The women's teams have finished third, fourth, and fifth in three races at Mocassin Bend.
The Owls will compete against Alabama A&M (women only), Austin Peay, Chattanooga, Georgia State (women only), Jacksonville State, Middle Tennessee, State, and Tennessee State.
The men's race will be a 5k on Friday evening, while the women's will be a two mile race.
Owls Post Solid Performances at the UNF InvitationalAfter three weeks of practice, the Kennesaw State cross country teams made their debut at the UNF Invitational on Saturday, September 5. The men's team grabbed a third place finish, while the women's team finished fifth.

Kidan Kidane's second place finish was the second time in her career she has finished second at the season's opening meet. She also finished second at the Clemson Invitational last season.
- In her career, Kidane now has four top-10 finishes.
- Kennesaw State had five athletes that made their collegiate cross country debut at the UNF Invitational. Paulette Jueing made her debut on the women's side.
Simone Colombini, Derick Kinyanjui,
Taylor Huntley, and Cadmiel Velasquez raced in their first collegiate race on the men's side.
