KENNESAW, Ga. – Four members of the Kennesaw State women's soccer team earned all-conference accolades following the ASUN Conference's announcement of its postseason awards on Wednesday (Oct. 26).

Seniors
Brittney Reed and
Kim Fincher, junior
Abby Roth and freshman
Isabella Contreras were selected second team all-conference, following a vote of the league coaches. Contreras was also named to the all-freshman team.

Reed and Roth were honored as defenders, while Contreras was tabbed as a midfielder, and Fincher was voted to the team as a forward.

With her selection to the second team, Reed becomes a three-time all-conference performer, while Roth and Fincher are two-time honorees.

Reed has made a successful transition from forward to defender this season and totaled nine points, scoring three goals and adding three assists. She has anchored a backline that helped the Owls record six shutouts.
Â
Roth also has had a strong season in the backfield, totaling five points, two goals and one assist. Contreras has been a steady performer in the midfield, helping organize play and recording three assists.

Fincher has been one of the top performers in the ASUN Conference during 2016, ranking in the top 10 in points, goals and assists. She has established single-season career-highs with 19 points, six goals and seven assists.

Florida Gulf Coast's Tabby Tindell was named the ASUN's Player of the Year, while Lipscomb garnered Defensive Player of the Year (Niamh Rawlins), Goalkeeper of the Year (Anna Buhigas), Freshman of the Year (Olivia Doak) and Coach of the Year (Kevin O'Brien) honors.

Kennesaw State will be back in action on Saturday (Oct. 29) when it hosts Jacksonville in the first round of the ASUN Tournament at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. (ET).
