Atlantic Sun Release
Kennesaw, Ga- Sean Blassingame of the Kennesaw State men's track and field team was named Atlantic Sun Track Athlete of the Week for his performance at the South Alabama Invitational, the conference announced Wednesday.

Ed Loyd has been doing a great job helping Sean get closer to his potential evidenced by his conference leading performances.
Blassingame, had two conference leading performances over the weekend. He finished seventh in the 100m with a persona best time of 10.82 seconds to grab the conference lead by 0.12 seconds. He also finished fourth in the 200m in 21.60 to grab the conference lead by .02 seconds. The sophomore also ran a leg of the 4x400m relay team which finished third overall in 3:20.47.
The Owls will compete at the Virginia Relays on April 22-23 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
