Taylor Denton and
Logan Viers were named to the 2016 Atlantic Sun Conference All-Tournament team after helping Kennesaw State to a third-place finish at the conference championship that concluded Saturday on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.

Denton posted a .333 average (5-for-15), scored a run, collected three RBIs and stole a base while hitting safely in all of five games.

Viers started all five games and recorded a 2-2 record, 0.91 ERA and one complete game while helping the Owls to a 3-2 record. In 23 innings, the KSU right-hander allowed three earned runs and struck out 14. She opened the tournament with a complete-game two-hit shutout while striking out a career-high tying seven against Lipscomb.

Kennesaw State concluded its season with 30-28 record.
