 Race Preview
After two weeks off, The Kennesaw State Cross Country teams will head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to close out the regular season at Crimson Classic on Friday, October 13.
KSU will be competing in the state of Alabama for the third time this season.

Per NCAA rules, the meet will be scored in divisions.
The men's 8k race will begin at 10 a.m. ET. The women's 6k race is scheduled to start at 10:45 a.m. ET.

The Field
 The men will compete in a 32-team field featuring the following 28 Division I schools: Alabama, Alabama State, Auburn, Belmont, Chattanooga, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, Louisiana Tech, LSU, Memphis, Mercer, MTSU, Mississippi State, North Florida, Oklahoma, Southeast Louisiana  Samford, South Alabama, Stephen F.Austin, Tennessee-Martin, Texas A&M,  Troy, UT-Arlington, UT-Rio Grande Valley, and Vanderbilt

The women will compete in a 37-team field featuring the following 30 Division I schools:Â Alabama, Alabama State, Auburn, Belmont, Chattanooga, Florida State, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Jacksonville State, Lipscomb, LSU, Mercer, MTSU, Mississippi State, North Florida, Oklahoma, Samford, Southeast Louisiana, South Alabama, South Carolina, Southern Miss. Farrell and Poteet Lead Owls at Foothills Invitational
The Kennesaw State cross country teams continued their season at the Foothills Invitational on Saturday, September 30 at the Oxford Lake and Recreation Area. The women's team took home a third-place finish at the meet, while
Logan Poteet led the men's team with a second-place finish.
KSU Team Notes
- All six ladies ran their collegiate career-best 5K times at the Foothills Invitational.
- The Foothills Invitational marked the fourth time that Farrell has been the Owls top finisher in a meet and the first time that Poteet has been the Owls top finisher in a meet this season.
- This will be the Owls eighth appearance in the Crimson Classic. The men's teams best finish is a pair of fourth-place finishes in 2005 and 2006, while the women's teams is a fourth-place finish in 2006 at the Crimson Classic.
Next Up
The Owls will return to action Saturday, October 28 at the ASUN Conference Championships at Sam Smith Park in Cartersville, Ga. Â
