KENNESAW, Ga. – The seedings for the 2017 ASUN Conference Championship are set and the Kennesaw State women's soccer team will host North Florida in a quarterfinal match Sunday (Oct. 29) at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Kickoff is 1 p.m. and admission is free.

The Owls (8-6-3, 3-3-1) enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed, while North Florida (9-6-0, 3-4-0) earned the No. 5 seed. The two teams are meeting for the second time in the ASUN Tournament and the Ospreys hold a 1-0 advantage after posting a 3-1 victory in 2012.
The winner of the Kennesaw State-North Florida contest will travel to Nashville, Tenn. to take on regular-season co-champion Lipscomb in a semifinal match on Nov. 3. The Bisons (8-6-3, 5-1-1) and Florida Gulf Coast (12-3-1, 5-1-1) are the top two seeds and earned first round byes.
The other first-round match features No. 6 seed Jacksonville (4-10-0, 2-5-0) visiting No. 3 Stetson (8-9-3-3, 4-1-2) Saturday in DeLand, Fla.
Kennesaw State enters the weekend seeking its second ASUN Tournament title and first since 2009. The Owls are also looking to advance to the semifinals for the second consecutive season after posting a 4-1 quarterfinal victory over Jacksonville in 2016.
