KENNESAW, Ga. – Director of Tennis
Eduardo Rincon continues to build the men's tennis team with the addition of three new members to the Owl family, as Gaston Muhammad, Harvey Maughan and Jack Sorel signed National Letters of Intent and will join the Owls in the fall of 2018.
"These were the guys that we wanted for a long time, and I couldn't be more excited to welcome them to our program," Rincon said. "They have all been very well coached and they know exactly what they want to get out of playing college tennis. I believe this group will take KSU men's tennis to the next level, and help us build a team that will have the opportunity to advance in the conference standings."

HIGH SCHOOL: Homeschooled, but attends the Ogburn School … Plays on the Junior USTA League … Won the 2017 Cobb County Championships singles event … Teamed up with fellow signee Harvey Maughan to win the boys doubles at the 2017 Southern Closed BG 18's Championship … He and Maughan won the Winward Doubles Boy's 18's three years consecutively … Ranked 164
th nationally, 52nd in the southeast and 10
th in Georgia.
PERSONAL: Full name is Gaston Muhammad … Son of Gaston and Ronna Muhammad … Has three siblings, named London, Amirah and Kareemah … Father played running back at UCLA and is one of the programs all-time time leading rushers … Will plan on majoring in business at Kennesaw State.
