Quotable
Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Andy Eggerth's Thoughts on the First Day of the ASUN Championship
"We had several strong performances from our men, but with a small lead we have work to do tomorrow to bring home another title. Like the women, our men were strong in the field today led by the throwers claiming the top five scoring places in the shot put. Sean won the long jump on the very first jump of the competition in dramatic fashion with a huge personal record. All three of our high jumpers scored, and our men are sitting first and second in the heptathlon with three events to finish up tomorrow. Our men are set up well for tomorrow on the track, advancing five of the eight finalists in the 60m dash and three of the top four advancers in the 60m hurdles."
