KENNESAW, Ga. -- Saturday is a busy day for the Kennesaw State Owls with the women's and men's basketball teams hosting a pivotal ASUN doubleheader at the KSU Convocation Center, and the men's tennis team playing at the Betty Siegel Courts.
The basketball doubleheader tips at 2 p.m. with the women playing USC Upstate, followed by the men at 4:30 vs. Upstate. Tennis also begins at 2 vs. Belmont. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as traffic will be congested in the KSU Convocation Center area on Saturday afternoon.
Parking is FREE for all KSU Basketball games in the East Deck (on Frey Road, adjacent to the KSU Convocation Center). For information, visit

Saturday is Youth Day for KSU Basketball! Free Scrappy plush dolls will be handed out to the first 100 fans 12-and-under to attend the women's game, and the first 300 fans 12-and-under fans at the men's game. Ariel, Belle, Chewbacca and Marshall from Paw Patrol will be on hand from 3-5 p.m. to take pictures. Activities also include poster making, post-game autographs (both teams) and photos with Sturgis! The
ZOOPERSTARS will perform at halftime of both games.
The women's basketball team (4-3 in ASUN play), which has won three straight games and is currently in fourth place in the ASUN standings, hosts the Spartans at 2 p.m. A win would solidify the Owls' spot in the conference's top four with six games remaining. A win would also mark the Owls' longest ASUN winning streak since a similar four-game win streak in 2007-08.
Women's basketball admission is FREE.
The men's team enters the weekend 4-4 in ASUN play and in a dogfight for a top-four spot in the conference. The Owls, who have won three of their last four, are looking for revenge on USC Upstate after dropping a narrow 79-73 game in Spartanburg last week. Men's basketball tickets are $10 and can be
purchased online, by calling 470-578-OWLS, or at the KSU Ticket Office.
