GATES: Gates open at 6 p.m. Only Gates A & B will be open.

KENNESAW, Ga. – The third annual Kennesaw State Spring Football Game is set for Friday, March 24 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium beginning at 7 p.m. The game will air live on ESPN3 with Brian Giffin, Tutan Reyes,
Art Eckman, and Meggi Hetzel on the call.

Admission to the game is free and includes general admission seating. Gates to the stadium will open at 6 p.m. with parking in the Green, Tan, Black, and Grey opening at 5 p.m. Only Gates A and B will be open with seating available on the West side and South End Zone. Concession stands will be open on the West and South sides of the stadium.

The game's format will be similar to last season: Team will be split into offense and defense, with the offense scoring points in the traditional manner and the defense scoring points for big plays, turnovers, sacks, etc.

"We're excited to move this game to Friday night," said head coach
Brian Bohannon. "Playing under the lights at Fifth Third Bank Stadium is special for our players and our fans, and this will be a great way for us to cap the spring season."

The spring game is part of a busy weekend of KSU Athletics that begins Friday, March 24 at 3 p.m. with the baseball team hosting Canisius at Stillwell Stadium. The baseball series continues Saturday and Sunday, while the women's golf team hosts the Henssler Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday (March 27 and 28) at Pinetree Country Club. The women's tennis welcomes Akron Tuesday (March 28) at 5 p.m.
Fifth Third Bank is the Official Bank of Kennesaw State Athletics. Fifth Third Bank Stadium, the signature athletics landmark on the Kennesaw State University campus, is a world-class facility that has been recognized as one of the premier multi-use outdoor athletics venues in the country. In the fall of 2015, it became the official home of Owls football team and is also home to Owls soccer and lacrosse.
