KENNESAW, Ga. –
Sydney Farwick has been named ASUN Defensive Player of the Week for the second week in a row after helping lead the Owls to a week where they went 2-0 and have now won four straight.
In two games against Army and Presbyterian last week, she has won 12 draw controls, scooped up 11 ground balls, caused three turnovers and scored five goals while assisting on three more.
Against Army, she had the game-winning goal to go along with four draw controls and six ground balls. She raised the bar even higher against Presbyterian leading the team with eight draw controls, four goals, five ground balls and three caused turnovers.
The Owls have been hot as of late winning four straight as they head into ASUN play this weekend beginning with Detroit on Friday, March 24 at 4 p.m.
