KENNESAW, Ga. – Kendrick Ray added one more postseason award after becoming the second player in Kennesaw State history to be named Second Team All-District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student athletes and coaches on the All-District teams represent the finest basketball players and coaches across America.
"I'm very happy for Kendrick," head coach
Al Skinner said. "Just another acknowledgement for an outstanding senior year. It's something he should be very happy about. It speaks to the consistency that he played with throughout the season. I wish him continued success."
This past season, Ray became the first player in Kennesaw State history to be named ASUN First Team All-Conference after averaging 21.2 points per game. He set Kennesaw State's single-season records with 656 points and his 21.2 per game average.
Kennesaw State falls in District 3, which consists of other ASUN members as well as Big South schools.
