KENNESAW, Ga. – Senior
Christopher Guglielmo has been named the ASUN Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Thursday (March 23). It marks his third career player of the week honor and second this season.
Guglielmo turned in a solid performance during the Linger Longer Invitational as he tied for third place. The Cumming, Ga. native carded rounds of 66-69-71 for a 54-hole total of 10-under par 206, finishing four shots out of first place. His 36-hole total of 135 and final score of 206 established career best totals.
Guglielmo's performance came in a field that included six teams ranked in Golfstat's top 50, 12 players ranked in the top 100, and five individuals in the top 50. Only individual medalist and 34th-ranked Greyson Sigg of Georgia finished ahead of Guglielmo among ranked players.
Kennesaw State will be off until April 3 when it opens play in the Old Waverly Collegiate hosted by Mississippi State at the Old Waverly Golf Course in West Point, Miss.
