ON DECK
- Kennesaw State enters the weekend with a 7-5 mark in ASUN action, coming off a 1-2 mark over ASUN-leading Jacksonville at Stillwell Stadium. The Owls currently sit fourth in the standings and Lipscomb is right behind with a 6-6 mark.

- Taylor Allum's streak of reaching base safely snapped Tuesday, ending with 34 straight games and ultimately falling three games shy of KSU's D-I record of 36 set by Max Pentecost in 2014. Allum is, however, riding 12 straight games of reaching base in conference action.
- Freshman Garrett Hodges has found his stroke in conference play, batting .375 (9-for-24) in eight games. He is riding a 7-game hitting streak in ASUN action and has reached base safely in all eight games.

- Head Coach Mike Sansing is the reigning ASUN Coach of the Year, winning his first honors since Kennesaw State joined the ASUN in 2006. He is the second-youngest coach on the 1,000-win list, and is one of 13 active coaches with 1,000 victories who have coaches at least 10 seasons of D-I baseball.
- The skipper won his 950th game Thursday (March 16) at Western Carolina, taking a 12-3 non-conference tilt at Hennon Stadium. The win also snapped a three-game losing skid in Cullowhee, N.C. Sansing now sits 40 wins away from winning his 1,000th career game in the Black and Gold uniform.
