THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State dropped its final home non-conference tilt to visiting Georgia Southern, 6-0, at Stillwell Stadium on Wednesday evening.
· The Owls' offense was limited to three singles as Georgia Southern's Brian Eichhorn pitched a complete game to help the Eagles earn their 33rd game of the season.
· With the loss, Kennesaw State dropped to 20-26 overall and Georgia Southern improved to 33-16.

HOW IT HAPPENED
· Relievers Brock Turner, Jordan Krueger, Brian Exley and Erich Stahl pitched scoreless outings out of the bullpen on the evening, working a combined 3.2 frames giving up just two hits.
· Georgia Southern, however, set the tone early with a run in the first and second innings, and one more in the fourth to take a 4-0 lead into the middle innings.
· That lead was never surrendered as the Eagles plated two more in the seventh and one in the eighth to take a 6-0 final.
· Offensively, Austin Upshaw (1-for-4), Taylor Allum (1-for-2), and Jake Franklin (1-for-3) totaled all three hits on the night.

#NESTNOTES:
· Austin Upshaw's first innings single extended his hitting streak to nine games, and has totaled a team-leading eight RBI and 15 hits during that span.
