– Daniel McKune and
Brenton Rosa on the Kennesaw State men's track and field team have been named to the ASUN Outdoor Conference All-Academic team the conference announced Friday.

Andy Eggerth said. "Brenton and Dan do just that, winning medals, scoring points, and raising the team GPA. They are well deserving of the ASUN all-academic honor and I'm both proud of and grateful for these guys!"
McKune has a 3.71 GPA majoring in sport management. He competed in five meets this season. Did not medal but had career-best throw of 49.63m (162' 10"0) to finish fourth in the hammer throw at the ASUN Championships. The junior finished seventh in the discus with a career-best toss of 37.53m (123' 1") at the ASUN Championships. Had his best shot put throw of year of 13.58m (44' 6.75") at the WCU Invitational.
Rosa has 3.50 GPA majoring in biology In outdoor track he competed in pole vault in five meets and had four top-5 finishes. Broke ASUN pole vault record with a career-best clearance of 5.06m (16'7.25) to win the gold medal and qualify for NCAA Championships at the ASUN Championships. The sophomore finished second in pole vault at Virginia Challenge with a leap of 5.03m (16' 6").
Rosa and 13 other Owls will compete at the NCAA Championships May 25-27 in Lexington, Kentucky.
