NORMAN, Okla. – Teremoana Beaucousin, who ranks among the top players in Kennesaw State program history, capped an impressive four-year career by being named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), it was announced on Wednesday (July 26).

Beaucousin was one of 260 Division I men's golfers honored for their accomplishments in the classroom, on the course and in the community. This year marks the eighth consecutive year that the Owls have had at least one individual honored.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50 percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

"We're extremely proud of Teremoana and commend him for the commitment he made to his academics, and this honor is a great acknowledgement to the efforts he put forth both on and off the course," Kennesaw State head coach Bryant Odom said. "He represented Kennesaw State well during his career and we wish him success in his career endeavors."

A two-time Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar, Beaucousin concluded an outstanding career by helping Kennesaw State to a second straight ASUN Conference championship, seventh consecutive NCAA Regional appearance and trip to the NCAA Championships this past spring. He finished his career with a 73.02 stroke average that ranks fifth in KSU history and graduated with a degree in business finance.
