Madison Caldwell has been named the ASUN Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Thursday (September 28).

Rhyll Brinsmead said. "This was a career performance for her and a record setting 54-hole score for a KSU individual. We are very proud of Madison for her work this season and look forward to her continued success."
Caldwell had a strong performance during the Lady Paladin Invitational as she finished third overall. The Dawsonville, Ga. native posted rounds of 72-70-67 for a 54-hole total of 7-under par 209, finishing four shots out of first place. Her 36-hole total of 142 and final score of 209 established career best totals. Her total of 7-under par 209 was a school record for 54 holes on a par 72 course. Her final round 67 is tied for fourth best in program history on a par-72 course. Caldwell made 34 pars and 12 birdies and an eagle during the three-round tournament. The junior led the field in scoring on par 5s at 5-under par.
Caldwell's performance helped lead Kennnesaw State to third-place finish at the Lady Paladin against a strong field. The third-place finish was the Owls best finish ever at the Lady Paladin Invitational.
Kennesaw State will travel to Columbia, Missouri to compete in the Johnie Imes Invitational hosted by Missouri October, 2-4.
