 Race Preview
After a week off, The Kennesaw State Cross Country teams will head to Oxford, Alabama to compete in the JSU Foothills Invitational on Saturday, September 30.

KSU will be competing in Jacksonville State's meet for the second time this season.
   
Per NCAA rules, the meet will be scored in divisions.

The men's 8k race will begin at 9:30 a.m. ET. The women's 5k race is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. ET.
 
The Field
 The Entry field for the Foothills Invitational includes 32 women's teams and another 28 men's team to create the largest collegiate cross country meet held in the state of Alabama this year. Both men and women races will be scored in two divisions, red for Division I competitors, and white for Division II and lower.
 
In the red division will be KSU,  Georgia Tech, Georgia State, Troy, Jacksonville State and Lipscomb.

KSU Competes at Commodore Classic
Kennesaw State competed at the Commodore Classic on September 16. Both teams grabbed a pair of 14th place finishes in the meet.   

KSU Team Notes
- The Commodore Classic marked the second time that Patterson and Farrell have been the Owls top finishers in a meet.
- This will be the Owls second appearance in the JSU Foothills Invitational.

Next Up
The Owls will return to action Friday, October 13 at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
