Kyle was a regular member in the weekend rotation for Kennesaw State during his senior season, receiving 14 starts and putting together a 7-7 record with a 5.01 ERA... Kyle tossed 73.2 innings for the Owls, striking out 51 batters, the second most on the team... Allowed just 85 hits during the year, putting together a batting average against of .299... His most notable performance was a 4-0 shutout win at Stetson (3/30) in which he went all nine innings allowing just two hits, giving the Owls the series win over the Hatters and bringing Kyle A-Sun Pitcher of the Week honors... Earned a win over Lipscomb (5/25) during an elimination game in the A-Sun Championships...

2012 Summer League (Windward Braves/ Sunbelt) 
Appeared in three games, throwing seven innings… He had seven punch-outs and four walks during his three starts.

Made 12 starts for Kennesaw State and also had three relief appearances where he did not allow a run to score…3.23 ERA, with a 3-4 record, pitched 75.1 innings, allowed 72 hits, 30 runs, 27 earned, 26 walks, 57 strikeouts…held opponents to a .261 batting average…Mar 4 vs Jacksonville, 5.1 innings, six hits, three runs, eight strikeouts…Apr 1 vs North Florida, 7.2 innings 9 hits, three runs, seven strikeouts…Apr 7 vs Lipscomb, 7.1 innings, six hits, two runs, six strikeouts…May 18, vs ETSU, 8.0 innings, six hits, two runs, eight strikeouts…May 24, vs Belmont, 7.0 innings, five hits, 0 earned runs, two strikeouts.

2011 (Georgia Perimeter)
Started seven games … Posted a 4-1 record with a 3.06 ERA … Held opposing batters to a .258 average over 35.1 innings while striking out 37 batters.

2010 Summer League (North Shore Navigators/New England Collegiate League)
Kyle finished the summer with six starts and a 2-2 record... Maintained a  2.12 ERA for regular season, and a 2.67 ERA overall season including playoffs with 30.1 innings pitched... 27 K’s... Tied League record for most strikeouts ever in postseason (16])... Set Team record for most strikeouts ever in post season (16)...  Winning pitcher and pitched shutout in first game of Championship best of three series finals; 12 K’s in 8 innings...

2010 (Clemson)
Pitched in 13 games out of the bullpen … Finished the year with a 3.00 ERA while holding opposing hitters to a .222 batting average … Had a 2.45 ERA against ACC teams  Against ACC:  2.45 ERA/ .250 b/avg.   13 appearances, 12 total innings for season. 5 appearances, 5 innings against ACC opponents.  Went to Omaha on team that played in College World Series.
 
High School
Was a three-year letterwinner in baseball and lettered in football at Holy Innocents … Was named the Georgia Region A Player-of-the-Year as a senior at Holy Innocents Episcopal School … Was a First Team All-Region selection as a senior and Second Team All-Region pick as a junior ... Was named a First-Team All-Cobb County pick as a junior ... Was named a 2008 Georgia Dugout Top 100 … Selected to 2009 Baseball Clearing House South East Region National Team ...  As a sophomore he helped Holy Innocents to the Georgia AA championship ... Named Team MVP his senior season … Finished his senior season with an 11-1 record and a 0.97 ERA … Had a 9-3 record and 2.79 ERA as a junior.
