Outdoor
Placed sixth in the 10,000-meter race (39:31.34) at the A-Sun Championships… Also, competed in the 1500m, 3000m, and 5000m races.

Competed in the 800m, one-mile race, 3000m, and 5000m races.
2011-12
Morris ran in four events for the Owls in 2011… She opened the season as the teams top performer in the first three events with her best finish of 16th coming at the Georgia State Invite where she ran a 6K race in 23.44… Morris finished in 20th at the Auburn Invitational with a time of 15:38.40 in the 4K...Competed in 2 total track and field events during the 2012 season.
2010-11
Morris competed in all the distance events for the Owls, 3,000m, 5,000m and 10,000m in 2010-11… Her top finish came at the Clemson Invitational in the 3,000m when she placed fifth with a time of 10:55.92… Her personal best in the 3,000m is 10:40.98.
High School
Ran cross country and track and field for Peachtree Ridge High School where she was named Female Athlete of the Year in 2010… During her senior season, she placed 4th in the 3,200 meters at the Region 7 AAAAA Girls Track and Field Championships… Finished in first place twice in the 3,200 meters during the 2010 season.
Personal
Born Heather Nicole Morris in Atlanta, Ga. to Matt and Cindy Morris… Has two brothers, Matthew and Jonathan … Majoring in English Education with hopes of becoming a high school English teacher and cross country coach.
