The Governor's Towne Club is one of KSU's golf homes
The men's and women's golf team uses a unique sponsorship program and through the support and generosity of the local community, KSU golf has the benefit of five facilities which they can call home. The Owls are sponsored in part by Pinetree County Club, The Governor's Club, The Cartersville Country Club, The Bridgemill Golf Club and Chateau Elan and thus allowed the Owls to be hosted by some of the finest golf courses in the state of Georgia.
The dedicated partnership between the KSU golf programs and these courses will allow the Owls to host their first Division I tournament in the form of the 2008 Larry Nelson Collegiate Invitational.
The golf programs proudly announced the opening of a brand-new, state-of-the-art indoor practice facility in January of 2009. The facility houses multiple hitting bays, a contoured putting green, and swing and putt analysis technology.
