Coach Sansing Nabs His 1,000 Career Win
It is almost dusk, but Kennesaw State head coach Mike Sansing could very well still be standing in the dugout listening to the sweet sound of a baseball bat hitting a ball across the diamond. Now in his 24th season as the Owls skipper, and 27th as a collegiate baseball coach, Sansing won his 1,000th career baseball game when Kennesaw State defeated USC Upstate, 5-0, on March 27 at Stillwell Stadium.

The legendary head coach already owns an all-time .653 winning percentage and two national championships, but Sansing now achieved a milestone that very few people can say they've accomplished and has accomplished the extraordinary.

In what was referred to as "mythical milestone" by senior associate athletics director Scott Whitlock, who also put together a legendary 27-year career as the KSU head softball coach, Sansing now boasts a 1,000-531 (.653) coaching record.

Sansing continues to add to his already impressive list of achievements, including two national championships, 20 Coach of the Year honors, 10 national tournament appearances and over 40 players drafted in the MLB. He also has led his program to four Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament appearances and five total championships since arriving at Kennesaw State in 1991. The program reached new heights in 2014 when it advanced to the 2014 Super Regional after defeating Alabama in the Tallahassee Regional, capping off the most successful season at the Division I level.

You can find a full timeline of his career below and a videos above highlighting his moments throughout his career.

Congratulations, Coach Sansing!
