ROSWELL, Ga. – Kennesaw State Owls sophomore Ket Preamchuen showcased her talents on the national stage on Monday, firing a 4-over par 76 in the U.S. Women’s Amateur Qualifier at Brookfield Country Club in Roswell, Ga., to finish in a tie for ninth. She won a playoff to earn a spot as the second alternate to go to the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, Aug. 9-15 in Charlotte.

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Kennesaw State Owls women’s golf added another honor to their 2009-2010 trophy case this week when Ket Preamchuen was named a National Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Recipient. Preamchuen earned the honor by obtaining a 3.81 cumulative grade point average during her freshman year.
