COPPERHILL, Tenn. - The Kennesaw State women's tennis team recently opened the 2010-2011 school year by traveling north to White Water Express in Copperhill, Tenn. for an outdoor group experience which helped the team set goals for the upcoming season as well as allow the returners to meet the new members of the team and staff.

KENNESAW, Ga. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has named two Kennesaw State University tennis players as members of their All-Academic Team for the 2009-10 season.  Ayano Tanaka and Lindsay Dillon, both rising seniors, were each named to the team which recognizes players who achieve above a 3.500 GPA during the academic year.

KENNESAW, Ga. - Head Coach Brandon Padgett and the KSU Owls women's tennis team announced their upcoming schedule today.  This season, the Owls will face off with some familiar foes, as well as adding several new opponents to the schedule, including several teams that acquired national rankings last season.

KENNESAW, Ga. - Director of Tennis and women's head coach Brandon Padgett announced the addition of former West Virginia University star Olga Elkin to the KSU tennis staff.  Elkin will serve as the women's assistant coach, replacing former assistant Pavla Mesterova.

KENNESAW, Ga. - For the second time in three years, women's tennis head coach Brandon Padgett has seen his recruiting efforts recognized by Tennisrecruiting.net.  This season's recruiting class, which had only one player in it, was ranked #24 amongst mid-majors by the leading recruiting site for junior tennis players.

DELAND, Fla. - The women's tennis team saw its Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament debut come to an end in the quarterfinal round with a disappointing 4-2 loss to Campbell.  The Owls raced to first set leads in 4 of the 6 singles matches, but were not able to keep the momentum on their side and fell to the Camels.

KENNESAW, Ga. – For the first time in the program’s history the Kennesaw State women’s tennis team had two players receive Atlantic Sun Conference postseason honors as Vera Shkundina and Therese Lagerkvist were honored by the conference on Wednesday afternoon in an announcement made by the conference office.

KENNESAW, Ga. - Vera Shkundina extended her winning streak to five matches, but it was not enough to get the Owls past the Blazers of UAB today at the KSU Tennis Complex.  The Owls dropped the doubles point after dropping two of the three matches, then fell in four of the six singles for a 5-2 loss to conclude the regular season at 12-11.
