KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State assistant volleyball coach Ashley Crenshaw has been awarded a scholarship by the American Volleyball Coaches Association to attend the AVCA Convention and the Minority Coaches Workshop in Tampa, Fla., December 15-19, in conjunction with the NCAA Women's Volleyball Final Four.

KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State head volleyball coach Karen Weatherington and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics are pleased to announce that three student-athletes will join the KSU volleyball team next season.  Emily Bean and Sara Metroka have each signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Owls starting in the fall of 2010, while Ceci Mattei will transfer from Loyola (Ill.) to play for KSU beginning in the spring.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Holly Knight had eight kills and a .571 hitting percentage, but it wasn't enough as the Kennesaw State volleyball team fell in its first Atlantic Sun Conference Championships appearance to Belmont in the quarterfinals, 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-17).

FORT MYERS, Fla. - In its first year of eligibility, the Kennesaw State volleyball team will join five other teams in competing for the Atlantic Sun Conference Championship tomorrow as the Owls take on Belmont in the quarterfinals of the A-Sun Volleyball Championships.

KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State junior outside hitter Sabrita Gulley has earned Atlantic Sun Second Team All-Conference honors.  Gulley is the second KSU volleyball player to earn a postseason award for athletic play from the A-Sun and is the first player to earn First or Second Team honors.

KENNESAW, Ga. - On a day when four seniors that built the Kennesaw State volleyball program were honored, the Owls earned their 10th win in Atlantic Sun Conference play for 2009 with a 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, 25-10) sweep of Stetson at the KSU Convocation Center Saturday afternoon.

KENNESAW, Ga. - Chelsey Denesha had her fourth straight double-double with a match high 11 kills and team-high 10 digs, leading the Kennesaw State volleyball team to a 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-19) victory over USC Upstate Friday night at the KSU Convocation Center.  With the win, the Owls have secured a winning record for the first time in program history.
