KENNESAW, Ga. - Mariah Booth had a successful return to her hometown, recording nine kills and 11 total blocks to help Ohio State to a, 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-20), win over Presbyterian in the third match of the 2010 Owls Invitational.
Katie Dull had a match-best 10 kills and no errors for a .667 attack percentage to lead the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes hit .341 for the match, with four players hitting .400 or better.
The Blue Hose had eight service aces as a team, and twice had big leads in the early stages of sets. However, Presbyterian couldn't match the front-line strength of the Buckeyes.
Ohio State returns to action Saturday morning at 10 a.m. against Coastal Carolina. Presbyterian will face Troy tomorrow at 5 p.m.
