Official Release

KENNESAW, Ga. – Freshman Dulcie Sverdloff (Southend-on-Sea, Essex / Seevic College) has been named the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday (Feb. 19).

Sverdloff carded a 4-under par 212 to finish in third place at the 14-team Amelia Island Collegiate that concluded Tuesday at the par-72, 6,029-yard Amelia National Golf & Country Club in Fernandina Beach, Fla.

The Owls freshman turned in a career performance as she established personal-bests for low 18 (69), low 36 (142) and low 54-hole (212) scores. Sverdloff recorded rounds of 73-69-70 to lead Kennesaw State to second place finish.

The Golfer of the Week honor marks the second time during the 2013-14 season that an Owls player has been recognized by the conference. Junior Ines Lescudier received the honor on Sept. 23 after tying for sixth at the Lady Paladin Invitational.

Kennesaw State returns to action on Monday, Mar. 3 when it opens play at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla.
