MACON, Ga. – Kennesaw State junior Ines Lescudier has been named to the Atlantic Sun Conference's Women's Golf All-Academic Team, the conference announced on Wednesday (Apr. 23).

It marks the second straight year that Lescudier has been honored for her accomplishments in the class room and on the golf course. Last year, the native of France was named the A-Sun Conference's Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Lescudier is the first two-time all-academic selection in program history, joining Ket Preamchuen as one of two Owls to be honored since the award was instituted in 2012.

A sports management major with a 3.40 grade-point average, Lescudier posted a 74.53 scoring average that ranks third all time. She had five top 20 finishes, including three top 10s. Two highlights of Lescudier's season came at the Lady Paladin Invitational where she recorded a hole-in-one and at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational where she finished first to become the intitial KSU player to capture multiple individual medalist honors.

In her two and half seasons at Kennesaw State, Lescudier has recorded a 74.83 stroke average that ranks second all time.

The A-Sun Conference introduced the new sport-by-sport Academic All-Conference teams in fall of 2012 to recognize student-athletes who embody the conference's mission of Building Winners for Life. All the members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better and participated in at least half of their team's competitions.

East Tennessee State's Gabriella Wahl named the A-Sun Conference's Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was one of five individuals named to the all-academic team.
