VB: The Story of Griffin's Game

Griffin's Game is this Friday, October 30 Against NJIT at 7 p.m.

VIDEO FEATURE

KENNESAW, Ga. –
This Friday, October 30 Kennesaw State volleyball will host the inaugural Griffin's Game against NJIT at 7 p.m.

Below is a message from head coach Keith Schunzel on the meaning of Griffin's Game.

"Griffin's game is our way of directly impacting two wonderful families who are courageously battling this terrible disease called cancer as well as continuing to raise awareness. Griffin's game is about hope, love and community. Any amount of money raised, big or small, will 100% go into these families' pockets to help them with whatever needs they have. Bri, Griffin and I have felt so much love and support in our own fight. From very personal experience, when people give money it's about so much more than the money, it's their way of saying, we love you, keep fighting and we're with you. And in the best way we know how to, we want Brooks, Becky and their families to know and feel that we're here for them, that people love them and that the best way to fight something is with people who care standing right beside you.

Please come out and support our cause next Friday, Oct 30th at 7pm in the KSU Convocation Center. There will be "Fight like Griffin" T-shirts available for $10, there will be collection buckets and there will be GoFundMe website links for each of the two families. All money raised will go directly to the families. For those who may wish to donate to a more general cause there will be a website available for CURE, an incredible Atlanta based organization who's sole mission is to research and cure childhood cancer while helping support families battling the disease."
