KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State volleyball had another successful Griffin's Game on Friday night honoring David Sannuti and his family while fundraising money to help them as he fights leukemia.
 
The Owls fundraised 5,801.78 through donations and t-shirt sales leading up to the match.
 
"What a great night for our program," Schunzel said after the match. "Every Griffin's Game is special because it's so important for Bri and I to give back when so many people have given to us in our fight. (Last Friday) our team and staff played for David Sannuti and all the other families in the country that are faced with this battle every day."
   
Along with the Sannuti's, two of the past Griffin's Game honorees were also at the match and are doing well in their fight with cancer.
 
To make the night even better, the Owls defeated USC Upstate in straight sets to stay undefeated at home.
