KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State's
Kristi Piedimonte earned her first career ASUN Player of the Week after she was a key player in the Owls finishing off the regular season 19-4 overall and 13-1 in the ASUN to claim the ASUN Regular Season Championship.
Piedimonte had 32 assists and 11 digs on Friday against Stetson and then elevated her game even more against FGCU totaling 46 assists in the four-set match. The 46 was her second highest total of the season in a four-set match.
She also had six kills, two aces and three blocks through the weekend.
After winning its second straight ASUN Championship, the Owls are now looking ahead to the ASUN tournament that begins this Thursday, November 16. Kennesaw State has the one seed, so they will play the winner of Lipscomb and North Florida on Friday, November 17 in Nashville, Tennessee at Lipscomb.
