ASUN Release
Kennesaw, Ga. -
Dulcie Sverdloff was tabbed ASUN Conference Women's Golfer of the Week; the conference announced Thursday (April 6).
"Dulcie has been striving all spring to make everything click, and this week it all came together," said head coach
Rhyll Brinsmead. "The timing couldn't be better leading up to the conference championship. She made some changes to her putting, and it has been an effective change. I am really excited to see her compete over the next two events and postseason."
Sverdloff carded rounds of 73-69-74 to finish fourth with an even-par total of 216 at the Hawkeye El-Tigre Invitational. Her second round 69 was her lowest round of the spring and second-lowest the season. It was also the 22nd time that she has shot even-par or better in her career. The senior led the field with 40 pars during the three-day tournament. The Southend-on-Sea, Essex native finished ahead of two players in the field who ranked in the Golfstat Top 100 in route to leading her team to a fourth-place finish.
The Owls return to action Monday and Tuesday, April 10-11 at the Brickyard Collegiate hosted by Mercer in Macon, Georgia.
