KENNESAW, Ga. – Leading into the season that begins on August 27 against Troy, KSUOwls.com will introduce Kennesaw State volleyball's three freshmen to Owl nation.
The Owls class of
Quin Sutphin,
Karlee Groover and
Lauren Chastang became the first KSU signing class to receive an honorable mention by Prepvolleyball.com.
The second spotlight is on Groover, a 5'8" defensive specialist from Newnan, Georgia.
The Heritage School product was a multi-sport star all four years in volleyball, basketball and softball. In volleyball, she was a four-time All-State and All-Region player. In basketball, she was an All-Region player all four years of high school and an All-State player two years. She landed on the All-Region team in softball all four seasons as well.
Kennesaw State has 11 home matches this season and all are free admission beginning on Sunday, August 27 against Troy at 2 p.m.
